⅓ cup oat bran, organic preferably
1 cup water
Pinch pickling salt
PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME
Prep time: under 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
1. Combine oat bran and water in a saucepan and heat on low to medium heat.
2. Stir occasionally until it cooks to a perfect cereal texture.
Serve with milk or cream and a little sweetener like maple syrup, honey, or a sprinkling of granulated sugar. You could also add some ripe fruit to the cereal or have it on the side.
Store in the fridge for 3-4 days.
