Oysters

EQUIPMENT
Medium saucepan
INGREDIENTS
Any number of fresh oysters
PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME
Cooking time: approximately 5 minutes
METHOD
1. Fill saucepan with cold water and bring to a boil.
2. Drop oysters in boiling water and bring heat back up to boil.
3. Remove oysters when the shells begin to open. If you have an oyster shell that is taking more than five minutes to open, remove it from water so it doesn’t overcook.
4. Pop shells completely open with your hands or using a table knife.
5. If they don't open you can pry them open from the hinge end.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Eat immediately with a meal or as a snack!
