Protein Shake Like Eggnog

EQUIPMENT
Blender
INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk
1 egg, pastured (read label on carton)
1 Tbsp pure cane sugar
Pinch of pickling salt
Optional:
Honey instead of pure cane sugar
Drop of pure vanilla extract
PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME
Prep time: 5 minutes
METHOD
Blend together all ingredients.
Taste and add more sugar if not sweet enough.
SOME TIPS AND COMMENTS
Drinking fluids at room temperature aids digestion.
If you are concerned about consuming a raw egg, place an egg that is still in its shell in boiling water (pulled off the burner) for 3 minutes. This will kill any bacteria on the shell and slightly cook the egg inside. The inside is sterile. It is the outside that may have bacteria. Crack the egg into the recipe and continue as directed.
